Seize Point Neuf
French wardrobe basics made by a network of small workshops, with full supply-chain transparency.
Seize point neuf is a French clothing brand created in 2020 in La Séguinière, Maine-et-Loire, by the team behind the Ateliers Pulsion Design garment and printing workshop. After years of producing for traditional fashion brands and the events industry, and facing the disruption of the pandemic, the founders decided to launch their own label and sell directly from producer to consumer.
The collection covers everyday essentials for men and women: t-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, jeans, underwear, jackets and accessories, with a few customisable styles. Every piece is made in France in a network of partner workshops, most of them located in the Maine-et-Loire department or neighbouring regions, and Seize point neuf publishes the full list of these partners on its website.
What sets Seize point neuf apart in the made-in-France basics category is the depth of its traceability. The brand documents not only where each garment is sewn, but also where the fabric is woven, where the buttons, labels, packaging and embroidery come from, and where the patterns are made. With direct sales, accessible pricing and a small in-house team, the project reflects what its founders call a "Prod'Acteur" approach: producer and citizen at once.

Why we love this brand
Seize point neuf was born during the 2020 lockdown, when the team behind a Maine-et-Loire textile workshop decided to stop subcontracting for other brands and start their own. What we like is the radical honesty of the result. The brand publishes the full list of partners behind every garment, including the cutter, the embroiderer, the button-maker and the fabric mill, with each location named. You can see exactly where your t-shirt, jean or boxer came from. Few French labels go this far in the open.
