Norlender Knitwear

Traditional Norwegian sweaters made on Osterøy island since 1927 by the Tveiten family.

Norlender Knitwear is a Norwegian knitwear brand, with roots stretching back to 1927 when founder Ola Tveiten bought his first knitting machine on the island of Osterøy, just outside of Bergen. In 1989, the third generation of the Tveiten family launched the ‘Norlender’ brand label, and decided to specialise in traditional Norwegian knitwear. The factory, located on the island of Osterøy in a fjord and mountain setting, collaborates with Norwegian wool in over 70% of its collection, utilizing jacquard techniques handed down through generations of Norwegian knitters.
