Man1924
MAN 1924 is a Spanish menswear house founded in Bilbao in 1924 by Ambrosio Navares, a recognized name in the country's textile industry. The brand has remained under the Navares family for three generations and is now run by the third. Its origins are rooted in the Basque Country, a region the company explicitly cites in its history alongside artists Jorge Oteiza, Eduardo Chillida and Cristóbal Balenciaga.
The collection covers men's shirts, knitwear, trousers, outerwear, polo shirts, T-shirts and accessories, including a dedicated Kennedy Jackets line. Shirts and silk ties are made in Spain entirely by hand, from fabric to thread. The aesthetic favors soft, natural fabrics in earthy tones, designed for relaxed tailoring rather than seasonal trend-chasing.
MAN 1924 operates two boutiques, on Calle Claudio Coello 23 in Madrid and Calle Ercilla 21 in Bilbao, alongside an online store that ships internationally. The company is registered as MAN 1924, SL with offices in Bilbao.
