FENYX is a French clothing brand built around recycled materials, ethical production and social inclusion. The label produces every piece in France, with partner workshops in Roubaix, Lorraine and Paris, and works exclusively with social-economy structures (ESS) that employ people with disabilities, refugees and people in precarious situations.
The collection includes polos, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, knitwear and shirts for men and women, plus limited-edition pieces. Materials combine fabric made from recycled plastic bottles, recyclable wool, plant fibres, and textiles certified Origine France Garantie and Oeko-Tex 100. According to FENYX, more than 22,000 bottles have been recycled into garments through this approach, alongside significant savings in water use and landfill waste.
What sets FENYX apart in the made-in-France ethical clothing category is the made-to-order model: most pieces are produced only once a customer orders them, with delivery times ranging from 48 hours for stocked items to roughly three weeks for fabricated pieces. Packaging is also French-made, with recycled cardboard from Lorraine and vegetable ink. Together, these choices position the brand as one where environmental claims are tied to a transparent production chain and a clear social mission.
FENYX began as a personal answer to a private discomfort: how do you wear clothes that fit your environmental values? The founder couldn't find a brand that ticked every box, so they built one. Today, FENYX produces polos, hoodies, sweats and pulls in France, made from recycled plastic bottles, recyclable wool and certified plant fibres. What stays with us is the social side: garments are sewn in partnership with social-economy workshops that employ people with disabilities, refugees and people in precarious situations, made-to-order to avoid surplus.
