Dale of Norway

Norwegian knitwear since 1879 - Scandinavia's most iconic knit patterns, from the fjords.

Dale of Norway is a knitwear manufacturer established in 1879 in the village of Dale on the fjords of western Norway. It’s a worldwide name for its Norwegian wool sweaters with traditional patterns - Selbu rose, snowflakes, alpine geometrics - that have clothed the Norwegian national team at the Olympics many times since the 1956 Cortina Winter Games. Every sweater is made in the historic Dale factory which runs on local hydroelectricity and has been operating for over 140 years.
