Rivera Spain
Rivera is a Spanish womenswear label founded by mother and son Elisa and Eduardo Rivera. Its origins go back to the 1970s, when Elisa opened a multi-brand boutique in San Agustín de Guadalix, north of Madrid. She began designing her own pieces in the 1990s, and Eduardo joined the studio in 2002, when their first collection was presented at the Madrid fashion fair. The Rivera label was known until 2023 as Elisa & Eduardo Rivera before adopting its current name.
Every piece is designed at the Madrid headquarters and produced across twenty artisan workshops in Madrid and Toledo, all located within 150 kilometres of the studio. The collections include women's clothing, knitwear, footwear, bags, scarves and jewellery, with sizes ranging from 36 to 48. The patternmaking has been built over more than three thousand prototypes refined since the brand's beginnings.
Rivera now operates 13 owned stores in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao and San Sebastián, alongside an e-commerce that ships internationally. Around 70 people work between the headquarters and the workshops, all of which produce exclusively for the label.
