MYKITA was founded in 2003 in Berlin in a former nursery school in the Mitte district – that’s where the name came from. The brand has revolutionized global eyewear with its folded stainless steel frames, entirely handmade in Berlin without screws or soldering. Each pair is the result of an artisanal process consisting of laser cutting, manual folding and quality control piece by piece. Based in Berlin, MYKITA frequently works with leading names from the fashion and design worlds.
