Mirto
Mirto is a Spanish family-owned fashion house founded in Madrid in 1956. The brand built its reputation on dress shirts for men, designed and made in its own production facilities in Spain. Today the collection covers menswear and womenswear, with shirts remaining the central category alongside suits, knitwear, polos, trousers, ties, swimwear, outerwear and homewear.
The brand produces most of its garments in-house in Spain. The few inputs sourced abroad come exclusively from European suppliers, selected after compliance testing on quality and working conditions. Its name refers to myrtus, the Mediterranean evergreen shrub historically associated with victory and peace.
The label sits within Mirto Corporación Empresarial, a family-owned group also operating the brands Exigency, Liza and Baruc, and the exclusive distributor in Spain, Portugal and Andorra for Swedish brand Bread&Boxers. The group has been awarded the Spanish National Fashion Award by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism. Mirto collections are sold in over 500 multi-brand stores and more than 120 shop-in-shops in department stores worldwide, alongside the brand's online platform.
