Anuscas Family
From her base in Seville, Ana Jiménez turns discarded textiles into bags built to last. She founded Anuscas Family in 2007, after years spent in the textile trade and in sustainable fashion, and built the label on one principle: reuse before anything else. Old garments are taken apart and given a second life, and recycled fibres stand in for virgin materials across every design. The house even works with its own fabric line, Recy-tex, made from recycled materials that can themselves be recycled again, a small closed loop kept turning season after season.
The result is a range that stays contemporary without chasing trends: backpacks, bags, a maxi bum bag and smaller accessories, playful in colour and versatile in use, each shaped by the material that happened to come in. Because the raw stock is recovered rather than ordered by the roll, no two production runs look quite the same. Collaborations with other brands push the technique somewhere new and let the design breathe with a different eye.
Everything is designed and produced in Spain, at a deliberately unhurried pace the brand sums up in a single hashtag, #DOITSLOW. There is nothing performative about it: the pieces are simply meant to be carried for years. Anuscas Family calls its customers The Family, and the line printed across the site says the rest, be creative, be conscious, be simply you.
