It all begins with the fabrics. For her kimonos, Silvia Fernandez travels through France, Spain and Bolivia in search of one-of-a-kind cloth. Each kimono is then made by hand in her workshop in Lattes, on the edge of Montpellier. Inspired by Japanese aesthetics, they have fluid cuts and play, from one piece to the next, on embroidery, deep textures, prints or velvet. The kimono has become the signature piece of the designer behind Warmi Love.
Around it, a whole wardrobe has taken shape. The ready-to-wear, for women and men alike, is made in the same workshop: trousers, shirts, cardigans and co-ordinated sets designed for everyday life. The wedding dresses are made to measure, in satin, tulle or lace depending on the design, and Silvia guides each bride from the first sketch to the final fittings.
